Margaret River…not

After a lazy week in Perth we drove down south to Margaret River region. On the way there we spent a night on a rest area and in the morning couldn’t get the car started. While in Perth we took it to the RAC mechanics for a check a paid them $400 to hear that we are driving an old car. We thanked them for this amazing revelation and now cursed them because up until we dropped it off at their place it was an old car, but at least a functioning one. So we spent the morning waiting for roadside assistance. In the afternoon we finally got to Margaret River and went to see if there is some hiking in the area. It was too late to go walking now but tomorrow. Except the next morning we once again spent waiting for roadside assistance and realized that we are not going walking but driving back to Perth to a car mechanic. Apparently our carburettor is buggered. So once the car was going we started our drive back to Perth. So all we saw of Margaret River after driving some 300k’s each way was the info centre. Thanks to Matt who kept straight face when we knocked on his door within 48 hours again.

Po tydnu lenoseni v Perthu jsme zamirili na jih do Margaret River. Cestou tam jsme zastavili na noc na odpocivadle  a rano jsme nemohli nastartovat. Kdyz jsme byli v Perthu, vzali jsme auto na kontrolu a servis k mechanikovi. Tam jsme zaplatili $400 aby nam rekl, za mame stary auto. Podekovali jsme mu za tento uzasny objev a ted jsme ho proklinali, nebot do te doby, nez na Betty sahl on, jsme meli sice stary, ale funkcni auto. Takze cele rano jsme stravili cekanim na opravare, ktery nas nastartoval. Odpoledne jsme konecne dojeli do AMrgaret River a zamirilo do infocentra. Nasli jsme informace o nekolika trecich, ale uz bylo pozde nekam vyrazit, tak jsme to nechali na dalsi den. Bohuzel dalsi rano jsme stravili stejne jako to predchozi – cekanim na opravare, aby nas nastratoval. To uz bylo jasne, ze nejdem trekovat, ale jedeme zpatky do Perthu k mechanikovi, nebot nam chcipnul karburator. Takze 300km tam a 300 zpatky a z Margaret River jsme videli jen infocentrum. Dekujeme Mattovi, ze udrzel vaznou tvar, kdyz jsme u nej opet zvonili, zhruba 48 hodin pote, co jsme se s velkou slavou loucili.
